Scope of Services
The contractual activity of airportzurich.taxi includes the commercial passenger transport after the order has been placed by the customer. The contractual services include the safe transport of the agreed number of people with their luggage to the agreed pick-up date and to the agreed destination. Other services such as child seats (up to 4 years), excess baggage, bulky baggage and the carriage of animals must be agreed separately and requested when booking.
A booking can be made by phone on 043 556 94 94 or 076 476 35 35 or ONLINE at least 5 hours before PICK -UP. After receipt of the order, your booking will be confirmed within a very short time. By placing an order, the customer accepts our terms and conditions . The contract of carriage is only valid once the booking has been confirmed by airportzurich.taxi . Telephone bookings are confirmed by SMS. The customer is obliged to check the accuracy of the information. The customer is responsible for the correctness of the information.
The customer must expect deviations of +/- 10 minutes from the agreed pick-up time, and must be reachable by telephone at least 30 minutes in advance. If the customer cannot be found at the confirmed pick-up address, the right to transportation expires after 5 minutes waiting time. In this case, the confirmed package price must be paid in full. In the unlikely event that airportzurich.taxi cannot meet the pick-up time due to unforeseen circumstances, airportzurich.taxi cannot be held liable for any additional costs incurred.
As a rule, passengers are received in front of the exit (customs) in the arrivals area of the specified flight with an individualized name tag. Passengers who do not arrive at the agreed meeting point will be contacted by the chauffeur by telephone.
If the customer does not report or cannot be reached, so that no new meeting point can be arranged, the right to the transfer is cancelled.
No liability is assumed for delays due to force majeure (accident, breakdown, traffic jams). We are only liable for material damage if the damage is due to gross negligence or intent. airportzurich.taxi assumes no liability for any damage to baggage or its contents.
The carriage of excess baggage or bulky luggage, eg bicycles, surfboards, skis, diving equipment, must be reported and can only be transported free of charge if space is available and it is securely packaged.
Child Seat, Transport of Animals
airportzurich.taxi provides MaxiCosi and booster seats for children free of charge. For the transport of animals, if space is available and agreed, the passenger is obliged to make the necessary, legally required means of transport (e.g. animal box) available to airportzurich.taxi .
Cancellation and Rebooking
A cancellation or rebooking must be made in writing (e-mail). A rebooking is only valid if this is confirmed by airportzurich.taxi . The customer can cancel his/her booking free of charge up to 5 hours before the pick-up time. In case of cancellation within 5 hours before pick-up time, or in case of no-show, airportzurich.taxi will charge the passenger the full cost of the transfer.
Prices and Surcharges
The flat rates calculated and confirmed by airportzurich.taxi apply. The fare is specified in the written booking confirmation. Unannounced intermediate stops are to be paid in cash according to the additional transport costs incurred.
The flat rate is to be paid directly to the chauffeur at the end of the journey. Payment is usually made in cash or by card (EC, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Amex). In the case of billing customers, CHF 5 will be charged in addition to the fare. Administration costs charged. The invoice is to be paid 10 days after receipt.
